Guardian Landlord works as a Progressive Web App (PWA) — meaning you can install it on your phone's home screen and open it just like a native app. No App Store or Google Play required. It loads fast, works full-screen, and keeps you one tap away from your dashboard or portal.
On iPhone (Safari)
You must use Safari to install — Chrome and other browsers on iOS don't support home screen installation.
Open Safari and go to app.guardianlandlord.com.
Tap the Share button at the bottom of the screen — it looks like a box with an arrow pointing up.
Scroll down in the share sheet and tap Add to Home Screen.
Edit the name if you'd like (it defaults to "Guardian Landlord"), then tap Add in the top right.
The app icon will appear on your home screen. Tap it to open Guardian Landlord in full-screen mode.
On Android (Chrome)
Android supports installation through Chrome. Some phones may show a prompt automatically — if not, follow these steps.
Open Chrome and go to app.guardianlandlord.com.
Tap the three-dot menu (⋮) in the top right corner.
Tap Add to Home screen.
Confirm the name and tap Add. On some devices a second prompt will ask you to confirm — tap Add again.
The Guardian Landlord icon will appear on your home screen and app drawer.
What you get after installing
Full-screen experience — no browser address bar or tabs, just the app.
Fast loading — the app loads from your device cache rather than re-downloading everything each visit.
Push notifications — landlords get alerted on new maintenance requests; tenants get notified when their request status changes or they receive a message.
